From the Bubble Mews, Moon and Sunbreons, Gem pack exclusives. We are seeing prices typically associated with their english counterparts.

Starting in 2022 the Pokemon world was introduced to the marvelous Simplified Chinese Pokemon cards for Mainland China. These cards are causing quite a bit of ruckus. As you can see from the sales shown above. As people i.e. Pokemon investors start to notice, we have another asset that seems to be undervalued.
Because of their quality, uniqueness and to ensure their authenticity. The Pokemon company has gone through the process of stamping a genuine Pokemon logo on the bottom left corner of the S-Chinese cards.
Lets see why S-Chinese Pokemon cards have everyone talking.

#1: The EXCLUSIVES
This is why we are here. Although the cards and Pokemon in general has beautiful art and design. These S-Chinese exclusives take it to another level. As you can see these cards are beautiful interesting and leads to a connection to original Pokemon sets and a preview of what is coming next.
It appears that China is requiring some consistent level of exclusives for their sets. As a result he prices for S-Chinese PSA 10 cards are through the roof.
The chase cards from the Collect 151 set:
The Pikachu and Gengar "Surprise" PSA 10 sold for as high as $4,500 US.
The Pikachu Psyduck PSA 10 has sold for over $1,200
The Pikachu "Flying Pikachu" PSA 10 has sold for similar amounts.
Not bad for one of the "other" Pokemon language variations.
So all eyes will be on each new S-Chinese set moving forward.

#2: Starting with Sun and Moon era means Huge sets.
We have starting in 2022 region exclusive and set exclusive dating back to the Sun and Moon era. Which means they have a lot of catching up to do. So that is going to result in huge sets compared to Japanese sets.
#3: Simplified Chinese cards are produced in Japan
This is the key to success for S-Chinese sets and their burgeoning popularity. Because as I will cover below, the Chinese market has big ideas for Pokemon in their region.
Without the consistently excellent quality of the Pokemon cards produced in Japan. Many of the innovations requested for the S-Chinese cards would not be possible.
Pokemon cards produced Japan consistently have higher gem rates and more texture and gloss on the surface of the cards than the english versions. English Pokemon are produced at a scale (in the billions) which does not allow the same level of quality.
I have covered this topic in another article.

#4: The Chinese know the power of their market
The Chinese market is substantial. Through many years of financial growth and an significant increase of the size of the middle class. The buying power of the Chinese market is highly desired. See Starbucks, Tesla, McDonalds, etc.
However China is a very particular culture with different sensibilities from the Western world, hence the failure of most companies to integrate into the Chinese market.
Because of this financial power, if you want into this market of over a billion people, you need to "play ball." Meaning whatever percentage you were paying for access to every other markets will be increased.
The returns Hollywood gets back to have films released in China, are a fraction of their returns elsewhere. However it speaks to power of the market that industries still bend over backwards to enter it.
So China will exercise this power in Pokemon by requiring innovation to distinguish their sets from the others.
By having new foils designs and many more exclusive cards.
Pokemon wins by fully entering into one of the largest markets in the world. Pokemon fans win by have many more beautiful cards and designs to look forward to. No doubt adding to Pokemon's already innovative structure.
